THE LAVVUS GOT TESTED DURING THE "INGUNN" STORM

The lavvus got tested during the "Ingunn" storm

Our lavvu camp was well prepared for the storm, since it had been announced by the meteorologists several days in advance.

We used all the bardunes, and each of the lavvos had 38 attachment points to the ground. The largest is 50m2 and is 5 meters high. It's a big potential for having a large wind catchment in the fabric.

The design of the Lavvus is a well-proven patent, as the Sami have used this type of tent for over 2000 years.

At its strongest, the wind was up to 32 m/s (strong storm) where the lavvus are. Then we know that we can sleep safely the next time there is a storm. 🙂
