Experience real dog sledding from Harstad in scenic surroundings in Kvæfjord. This the husky ride is made for you who want experience an exciting dog sled ride, driven by an experienced musher with his own team of dogs, ensuring a safe and memorable experience. You will be given a sled with 4-6 energetic huskies. Strap yourself into the sled for an energetic and adrenaline-filled ride. Ready, set, go – your Arctic dog sledding adventure begins!

Break along the way and photo opportunities

Halfway through the husky ride We will take a short break so that the dogs can rest. Here you can enjoy some hot drinks, take pictures and enjoy the silence of the winter landscape.

Meet your new four-legged friends

After the trip, we thank each dog for their efforts – the huskies love the attention! Many guests feel like they have gained a new four-legged friend. We also tell you what it is like to do dog sledding and how we take care of the dogs year-round.

Transportation – How to get to Husky Camp

The Husky experience is on Borkenes, approx. 20 minutes by car from Harstad in idyllic Kvæfjord. There are good bus connections between Harstad city center and Borkenes, so you can get there safely and cheaply, if you don't have your own car.

To make the experience even easier and stress-free, we also offer Round-trip transportation from Harstad to the husky camp with guide. You don't have to worry about rental cars, winter conditions or directions – sit back and enjoy a beautiful drive through the northern Norwegian winter landscape while we take care of the transport. This makes our dog sledding from Harstad for a complete, guided day trip.

GROUP SIZE

For individual bookings for departure at 12:30, there is a maximum of 8 people on the tour.

This ensures a nice and good experience for all guests and that everyone gets to ride without too much waiting time.
