SELECTED MOUNTAIN TRIPS:

Hinnstein is a mountain in Harstad municipality in Troms. It is located six kilometers south of the center of Harstad and the summit is 560 meters above sea level. View over central areas in Harstad, as well as in a wide area around.

The trip takes 3-4 hours in varied terrain. Good footwear is required. Difficulty level is medium.

The stick is a peak in Harstad by Aunfjellet, approx. 20 minutes' drive north of the center of Harstad. After about 1 hour of leisurely walking, we are at the top of Keipen, about 500 meters above sea level, and here we encounter a fantastic panoramic view of Toppsundet, Kasfjorden and Andfjorden. On the other side, we have a view of the steep Grytøy mountains, which clearly tell us about the forces of the Ice Age.

The mountain tour itself takes just over 2 hours.

The moose is a mountain in Harstad municipality in Troms, approx. 30 minutes' drive north of the center of Harstad. The highest point is 534 m. The mountain got its name from its shape, due to the fact that from a certain angle it resembles a moose lying down. Elgen is located at the end of a headland on the north side of Hinnøya, with Toppsundet to the east and Kasfjorden to the west. At the bottom of the mountain, on the north side, is Elgsnes chapel.

The mountain tour itself takes 3-4 hours.

Top off Gangsåtoppen (Ramnfløya) is located at 181 meters above sea level. This is Harstad's own "city peak", with a fantastic view over the city and the entrance to Harstad (Vestfjorden). The top is easily accessible, and it takes about 20-30 minutes to go up. It takes about 10 minutes to drive from Harstad centum to the starting point for the tour.
